Walter Yeh, the current President & CEO of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), has served at TAITRA for more than 30 years, and is responsible of all global trade promotion activities. His wealth of experience covers all fields of the trade industry, with a major emphasis on international marketing and branding. Listed as one of Taiwan’s Top 100 MVP managers by Manager Today in 2010 and 2014, Walter has been a key person in promoting Taiwan’s trade to the world.

 

Walter is also a dedicated patron of the MICE industry, promoting further cooperation between Taiwan and the world. His work has garnered many international accolades, earning him a name in the industry. One of his most recognized achievements is being named the 2016 recipient of the prestigious IAEE Outstanding Achievement in Industry Leadership Award. In addition, Walter’s leadership skills have allowed him to serve on the UFI Board of Directors, UFI Marketing Committee, IAEE Board of Directors, WTCA Board of Directors, as well as the President of AFECA (Asian Federation of Exhibitions and Conventions Association). Presenting at major global events, he is endeavored into enhancing development and collaboration of Taiwan’s MICE industry with the international market.
